On February 25, 2026, Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage officially launched the Tiwa Savage Music Foundation (@TSMFOFFICIAL), a philanthropic initiative aimed at discovering, developing, and empowering the next generation of African music talent. The foundation focuses on providing access to world-class music education, mentorship, and resources, extending beyond performers to include producers, songwriters, sound engineers, music executives, and other behind-the-scenes creatives.

In partnership with her alma mater, Berklee College of Music (where Savage studied on scholarship), the flagship program “Berklee in Nigeria: Tiwa Savage Intensive Music Program” will offer a free four-day intensive training in Lagos from April 23–26, 2026, for 100 selected participants. Applications, requiring a recent performance video and open to emerging talents across Africa (primarily aged 18+ with some experience), opened recently and close around March 20, 2026. Savage emphasized that while talent is universal, access is not, and the foundation seeks to bridge gaps in structured education amid the evolving global music industry, including impacts from AI and technology. This move reflects her commitment to building sustainable opportunities at home in Nigeria after years of global success.
